Inouye will probably eat up USA LS attacks also.

Who starts? New OHs, keep everyone else ? Why would you switch OHs or at least Wilhite? I believe she hit almost .500% and passed decently.

I hope Foecke gets some chance playing this time. Japan's serve receive is really good, a great challenge for the US girls.

Watching Japan play Bulgaria was fun! Both teams brought a ton of energy and both will be much stiffer opponents than Belgium.
Tomorrow I hope to see Foecke/Lee in place of Kingdon. We need another more terminal left side hitter.
Plus I would like to see the double sub.

I very much so liked seeing Ogbogu/Rettke last match, I'd like to see Washington this match.

So what's your prediction for the match? US wins 3-0? 3-1? 3-2? Or US loses 0-3, 1-3, 2-3?

This should be a fun one, playing against a very scrappy Japan A team. Wouldn’t mind going 5 sets and test their mental side of the game

Do you think Karch will bring Hancock, have her as the captain for the week, and not play her? I hope she starts this match.

They are missing some important players (Kurogo, Tominaga, Araki, Shimamura, Uchiseto, Nagaoka). During the Mountreux they tried different lineups.

I want to see this team take care of business tomorrow. The players who performed best in practice earned starting positions. I expect we’ll keep it that way, until adjustments are needed.

Hancock plays a leadership role on this leg, whether she’s starting or not. Hancock is one of three players on this roster who represented us at WCH.

Which countries that are actually title contenders have their A team with them right now, if any?
