I’ve had this question in my head, might as well ask it here. I don’t follow pro very closely, I watched novara, imoco, and vakif a couple times each. For this question. Let’s say it’s possible for a player to play on 2 teams at the same time that are playing against each other. Could any pro team beat the USA national teams best lineup, I know some USA players may be on the top pro teams so just pretend they can play for both. Some of these pro teams looked really good, if the national team was a pro team would they be the best pro team? I sometimes wondered if some of great collegiate teams like the Megan Hodge-led Penn State teams could’ve beaten Team USA.

They wouldn’t have been able to handle a 2008 Logan Tom anyway.

They were great, but I still wanna know if any pro team is better than our national team.

It was really about them spending more than twice as much as everyone else on football, and having more than twice as many students (so more athlete spots). Volleyball did their part by being a D3 power. St. Thomas kicked out of Minnesota IACThis gets me thinking, if Texas starts making too much money on their TV deal, will the others kick them out? Naaah.

Yes, but if possible try to not look at coaches and look at the players abilities

So, I had a chat with one of the players from Nebraska (circa 2001-ish). She doesn't remember tennis balls during practice, however they did use those mini-volleyballs (the ones the players threw to the crowd during introductions) for some drills. Also, they had machines that could launch volleyballs (to simulate serving). But they didn't use the machines a lot because they had male volunteers who could whip it 60-70 MPH. I have yet to hear from Dani Busboom-Kelly. And Laura Pilakowski has not responded to my friend request on FB. LOL!

It is an interesting story, definitely not something you see every day. ESPN actually had a link about it on their home page for a while this morning.
