Whats tie breaker in the event two teams tie for 4th and went 1-1 against each other? Tie break is set winning percentage, then points scored. The potential for a 3 way tie for third still exists, but Villanova can end that by beating Butler Friday. Because I let my curiosity get the better of me, here's the three teams set records in conference play through Oct. 22: St. John's: 17-11 Villanova: 15-12 Butler 15-15

So right now its St. John's at 4-3, Villanova 3-3 and Butler 3-4. The result is the same order but closer percentages.

Big East Week Eight Awards: OPOW Allie Barber, OH Marquette. DPOW Elizabeth LaBue, L Butler. Keeley Davis of the Week: Keeley Davis, OH Creighton (7th consecutive). Who will stop Keeley Davis streak? Anyone want to start a poll with top candidates and “other”?

Maybe O’Toole of Xavier? Nice hitting and dig numbers and team doing well. Leitman of Providence (when she’s back and they win a match). Vandenberg of Marquette has nice hitting numbers... I know a certain poster may not agree but Plutnicki of Georgetown is setting a 5-1 and will likely have nice stats if they win a few. Kathariou of St Johns is a leader in blocks. Murray of Hall is a dig leader.
Who else? AZ can you make a poll within this thread?

Following is the Big East vb tiebreaker procedure, current as of 2018. I've never seen it spelled out beyond the first two steps on any BE media release. I got the full process from a story on the Creighton website.
Ties between two teams
1. Head to head match record
2. Head to head set record
3. Head to head point total
4. Match record vs. highest finishing conference opponent
5. Match record vs 2nd highest finishing conference opponent (and so forth)
6. Coin toss
Ties of three teams or more
1. Tied teams are viewed as a mini-conference. As soon as one team breaks the tie, the tiebreaking procedure starts over.
2. Best match record within the mini-conference
3. Best set record within the mini-conference
4. Best point percentage (total points scored divided by total points played) within the mini-conference
5. Match record vs. highest finishing conference opponent
6. Match record vs. 2nd highest finishing conference opponent (and so forth)
7. Coin toss

My money is on 1)Kathariou and 2)Vandenberg to break the Davis streak. Creighton Coach KBB has been asked several times recently about Davis's redshirting. The story is that during the Summer '18 foreign trip the staff did not think Davis was ready to start at OH at the BE level. By August, they thought she was ready to start but she wasn't going to start ahead of the 2 All Americans, Winters/Kloth. During individual meetings prior to the season, they told Davis she would play but be third in line, or could redshirt and step into a huge role in '19 as a freshman. She chose to redshirt without putting much stress into the decision.

She won the first FOW award this season and had really strong performances against Nova and the Hall in Big East play.

I forget about Hanlon cuz she’s redshirted twice and is a Junior in school.

She’s great going off the block

Yeah, I understood that joke too. Good one!
How did Hanlon redshirt twice? Injury?
