Do you have them doing better than 1-5? It's hard to pick SJ outright to win any of those five. However, you never know. I think two or three of those teams will have some early-season growing pains this year as they work in new freshmen/transfers while SJ is bringing back a pretty experienced and stable bunch. SJ could go 0-fer, but I wouldn't be shocked if they pick up 2 wins. 6 matches. I have them over Duke, underdog in the others. Maybe steal one of them.

Nah, UConn has been in the bottom half of the AAC the past few years. They won’t help the conference much.....not nearly like they will for basketball! And really, will any conference ever move faster than the AAC???😅

MU changes nicknames and mascots more than any other school I think.. marquettewire.org/3849912/ae/latest-issue/mascot-madness/

Impressive. St. John’s looking to be ready to make a run for a conference title. I was recently reminded that St. John's volleyball is on NCAA probation through Dec. 19, 2020. Am I correct in assuming probation means no possibility of an NCAA tournament appearance this year?

Probation means if you screw up again, the NCAA will drop the hammer on you.

Instead, the Big East names Persico coach of the year. I'm biased, but that award should have gone to Rens at Georgetown after the Hoyas turnaround last season in his first season.

And now Rens should work on some fan engagement initiatives. I was curious to see what their 2019 schedule is and nothing is posted. It’s July. Went to their social media. Nothing exciting to look forward to. No announcements on their incoming freshmen class. Nothing. Baby steps I guess?

It would be great to see any announcements from the school on the incoming class and on the incoming coaches as well. Not sure the lack of info is on Rens as much as the sports info office? Sports information should be the people on it. You can't expect a head coach to do every aspect of the program. If I were all of these schools I'd give a student the social media reins and let them fly. Younger players watch team social media accounts fervently. It's a great recruiting tool. Unfortunately, there has been little to see on the Georgetown sites about volleyball. Hope it picks up soon. With added social media presence, a winning team, and the fact Georgetown is a superior academic school, recruiting would continue to dramatically improve for the Hoyas. And, then, the Big East might find Georgetown to be the team knocking off the Golden Eagle Hawk Warriors and the Bluejays.
