This is the best lineup that Serbia can put up:
Mirkovic, Mihajlovic, Busa/Milenkovic, Pusic, Mi. Popovic, Veljkovic, Boskovic.
Anything less than this and I like the USA’s chances!

Serbia will be without the main players ( Boskovic, Mihajlovic, Veljkovic).
Rasic, Ognjenovic and Popovic don't return to NT for VNL.
Turkey without Erdem swept Serbia with Boskovic, Mihajlovic, Veljkovic. USA must sweep them as well with this roster.

Anything less than this and I like the USA’s chances! Yup, although Serbia will still be a good challenge I think. But if the US can keep improving it's form, then the chance of them prevailing over Serbia is still stronger I think. Of course, one should not underestimate Serbia even if they are missing a few key players, they can always spring a surprise...

Given the chance, id pick Foecke over Parsons or Kingdon for week 2.

Given the chance, id pick Foecke over Parsons or Kingdon for week 2. Foecke is getting married this upcoming week, so do not expect her on a Week 2 roster

Serbia's coach Terzic did say that this competition was meant as a training ground for their inexperienced players. The only reason Boskovic, Mihajlovic, and Veljkovic played last week was because Serbia was hosting the pool, other than that they will probably won't be used for much of the tournament. I expect USA to beat them 3-0.

I think this match is scheduled for the Olympics channel on 5/29. Not sure of the time, maybe 5pm.

This match should be similiar to the one with Bulgaria and should be a 3-0 win for the US. I hope he stays with Reddke, Thompson, and Poulter.

How is Serbia 0-2? Didn't they beat just the Netherlands?

Just an FYI... I wouldn't read anything into listed spike or block touch numbers. They are just numbers on a form and probably aren't based on any sort of up-to-date testing.
