My dog is the best. He never reacts to other dogs during our walks. Even when tiny dogs yelp and bark at him from across the street, my dog ignores them. He's amazing. He also doesn't bother people. Whether a runner is going by or someone whistles, my dog ignores them. When off leash, he stays close to us and he always looks for us. On the other hand, he likes to eat mud and goes crazy for cats, squirrels, and rats. Once a goat in a farm got up on its hind legs and eyed my dog and my dog wouldn't look at the goat -- at all. He refused to make eye-to-eye contact. He wasn't amused by or naturally curious about the goat.

Yowza! That definitely hurt. Kinda hurt to watch (but I did, several times).

I was once tackled by my German Shepherd. This was back in 2001. (That dog has since passed.) Luckily, we were on grass in a park. She came running and swiped the back of my legs and I was laid flat on my back. It happened so fast that one moment, I was looking at the horizon and the next moment, I was looking up at the sky. Unless this has happened to you, you don't know what that horizon-to-sky transition feels like. I wasn't hurt. My current dog doesn't do that but he likes to criss-cross right in front of me when we're running, so while he won't tackle me, I may still end up on the ground because he will trip me up.
