The US did not end Week 3 of the VNL on a high note with a loss to Brazil, but things will only get harder in Week 4 when the US faces the likes of China and Turkey.
So what must the US do to improve itself in Week 4?

Get a new coach?

Well yeah, that too, but realistically? Probably not until after Tokyo. So until now and then what else can the US do?

All we need is one pass.

From what I saw versus Brazil we need our blocking to step up and our OH’s to terminate. There were way too many holes with our blocks. Passing needs to be better so we can get some good connections with our middles.

We can start by picking up tips behind the block and setting our middles more.

Obviously, we need better cheerleaders:

Honestly, I Don't follow international vb much; as w/ many others, I tune into the Olys every four years: that's pretty much it. I DO know enough about the game -- plus, I have been involved with NCAA-ball for decades -- to feel that I can concur with the comments of many here. One thing which seems obvious to me: with a fast-tempo game, I think that KK ought to be more open about giving the newbies enough of a chance to prove themselves or not, swim or sink. An infusion of youth and athleticism could NOT hurt, in my mind, and it could reap huge rewards (more like 2024). When passing to the MB's sucks (especially when they are one of your strengths); when there are holes in the block; when tip-coverage is substandard; when OH's don't terminate? A recipe for failure! Anyway, interesting stuff.

So what must the US do to improve itself in Week 4? Since this group includes four out of the top five teams in the current VNL standings, it might be difficult to recognize progress.

We can start by picking up tips behind the block and setting our middles more. I wish I could like this twice. Guess this is next best option

I love the idea of a KK swap. Welcome Kendall.
