I wanna see Carlini set the middles on just about every perfect pass.

US is not going to lose to Poland...right? Last year we won in 4 in our opening match at home. Poland have gotten better and we seem to be very streaky. It all comes down to who starts. We seem to be slow out of the gates in every match as of late....π€·π»ββοΈ

The unstoppable stars. First Gabi took us out with an unforgettable performance. Last night it was Karakut destroying us. Poland of course has Smarzek who is capable of going for 30 along with an upcoming young star in Stysiak. Fortunately Woloz will probably not play as she is reported to be recovering from an injury. Depending who Karch starts the US could lose to Poland. I can't see Larson starting if he wants to play her against China. I'm thinking all the youngsters and MBH and Courtney. A group that should get the win.
I see little chance for a win against a Chinese A team but looking ahead at the schedules the US should qualify for the finals even with a loss to the Dutchies next week. My hope for the finals is Hill, MBH, Foecke and Plummer. Larson he can save for the WC's if that's his plan. Karch might as well run the rookies all the way to the end and maybe even take a chance with some of them in the WC's.
I don't think the Oly qualifiers are in question with the weakness of Norieca so it's only do we want to use our youth to focus on Tokyo or stay with the vets and try to pull a rabbit out of the hat at the WC's. I'm for the rookies but we know Karch will be Karch. Can Karch get another four years with just an Oly bronze or will it require gold or silver? If this quad is nothing, nothing, and nothing he will surely be gone if we are in a normal world. There are only 3 really somethings in any quad; WC, WC, Oly's.
