It sounds like CU will be a lot like UW was last year. UW had a strong frosh class that took a few months to get their stride but by November they were playing really well and made the sweet 16. All the best to the buffs; I can't wait to see them and the U play Iowa and Illinois in a few months. I once took an online course through CU so I guess that makes me a bit of an alum. Yeah...as Coach Jesse said in so many words... 'We will be very good. It's just a matter of how soon that will be'. The Iowa and Illinois matches will help gauge where Colorado is with some of those new kids on the block.

I'm surprised to see Clayton starting since she is not eligible for this season. I understand it's just a foreign tour and most likely everyone will play but their next in line outside would compete with the other starters. Also wondering if the Buffs will attempt at a 6-2 with DeLuzio this season, sadly the six subs for this game won't allow that. I think it's a shame if they run a 6-2 since DeLuzio and Ewert are probably their 2 best players - it would suck to have each only play half the game and never on court at the same time. Any thought to moving DeLuzio to libero? I haven't seen her pass, but her defense is ridiculously good. Also, they both have such a high compete level. It must be so hard to bench one of them ever. she was a pretty good libero in club. I wish they would move her to libero so they could have their best players on the court nearly the whole time

Colorado is playing its 2nd match in China starting at (around***) 1:00 AM MT, or 3:00 AM ET / midnight PT. (***The 1st match had a pretty lengthy pre-game which included speeches and (impressive) dance, so started quite a bit later than the listed time. No idea if that might also be the case for this match.?.)
The below contains a link to the stream.
Edit - there's also some videos (Instagram Stories) and so forth on the CU Buff (https://www.instagram.com/stories/cubuffsvb/) and NCAA Volleyball (https://www.instagram.com/stories/ncaavolleyball/) Instagram accounts. (Colorado's 1st tweet said the match was going to be on Instagram, but from the above tweet that evidently changed.)

Ever since "Taken," I can't read these words without hearing Liam Neeson saying them.

Colorado finished with a 1-2 record in the Chinese tour. They made sure to play all 18 players throughout each match. I watched the stream or playback on each of them. Spann looks to be improved in shot selection and a bit on passing. For someone 5.8", she is VERY good as an OH. Clayton was impressive -- even though she can't play until 2020. As a team, Colorado was very good at blocking. Serving seems to finally be getting better in terms of service pressure. The lack of service pressure was probably CU's biggest opportunity in recent years. CU had a number of stuff blocks and aces in the matches. Because of 18 bodies constantly changing on the court, the court coverage and defense was not up to par. There are a lot of new incoming freshman that need to get used to the system and where they need to be on the court. With so many new faces, and a Top 10 recruiting class, it will be interesting to see who the regular starters will be in less than 2 months... Looks like Spann (a likely OH1 or OH2) has suffered a long-term off-season injury. The length she is out is not known, and at least it happened before August. Spann gave Stanford its toughest test over any other PAC-12 OH in Colorado's 5-set loss at Stanford last season. She was also inconsistent at serve-receive and made too many silly mistakes throughout the season, but she is/was ripe to shine her senior season as an impressive 5.8" OH. CU has some talented freshman in a highly touted class, but it will be interesting to see how long they take to get acquainted with D1 and PAC level volleyball. Clayton (USA collegiate selection and 2018 Southern Conference Player of the Year) will not be able to play for CU until 2020. Oh man, that's terrible. This team will be very interesting to see who starts...
