Seriously. When do these players head back overseas to play for their club? And when do they return for final Olympic Training? Lots of tough decisions to be made. Last international competition for the US women is the continental championships in early October - players would leave for club season shortly after. Club seasons vary in length - Asian (Japan/China/Korea) tend to be much shorter, while European club lengths go until early May with their domestic league and Champions league Thanks! Do they shorten their seasons at all in an Olympic Year?

My Updated Picks (Post IOQT) S: Carlini, Hancock OH: Hill, Larson, MBH, Foecke MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu, Dixon OPP: Thompson, Drews L: Robinson Same tho I would switch Foecke for Courtney. She's going to be there, whether or not Karch plays her/Krob is another story

She's going to be there, whether or not Karch plays her/Krob is another story I still hold out hope. I don't like throwing shade Courtney's way because I always liked her as a player in college, but I think we have enough data to see that she can't play libero to the level we need, and she would never play as an OH anyway, so what's the point? I know, Karch will Karch.

I think the gap from Krob to Courtney is bigger than the gap from Krob to MBH/Hill/Larson whoever is going to be our OH2.

My Updated Picks (Post IOQT) S: Carlini, Hancock OH: Hill, Larson, MBH, Foecke MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu, Dixon OPP: Thompson, Drews L: Robinson Washington outplayed Dixon in the last 2 matches. I would give her the third MB nod right now.

My Updated Picks (Post IOQT) S: Carlini, Hancock OH: Hill, Larson, MBH, Foecke MB: Akinradewo, Ogbogu, Dixon OPP: Thompson, Drews L: Robinson I think I am leaning more to Washington than Dixon as of today. But, that changes tournament-to-tournament. I think 8 of these are pretty clear at this point, though a lot changes in a year. Carlini, Thompson, Foecke are not on anyone's lists a year ago. Ogbogu would've been on some. Still a great battle with Hancock/Poulter and Dixon/Washington. Still uncertainty about Foluke and libero. Hopefully not any lingering uncertainty for Chiaka

The Lloyd and Gibbemeyer voters need to get with the times.

Would love for things to change tho.
