Exactly - I've always enjoyed watching Hunter play - she has this calm demeanor about her that is kinda cool - unassuming almost, but she's amazing.

Too damn many Pan Ams. I guess at least the airline is dead so that doesn't somehow add to the confusion. When I googled Pan Am Cup, I was shown a wide variety of coffee mugs from the airline for sale:) That is awesome. I won't describe a search term mistake that I once made on amazon. It was a bit more surprising than this one. And, frankly, Pan Am gear makes one nostalgic. Watched an old movie this week where the current Met Life building was still Pan Am and it made me smile

Another homer question. Do you think Lindsey Haddock Eppich was considered for any of these teams? If not, should she have been? Or maybe she wasn’t interested. Is LHE even playing pro? I would hope so, loved her play!!! I don’t think so. Maybe she’s ready to start a family. Really going to miss watching her play.

Should we expect Brazil and the Dominican Republic to send their best players to this tournament? I forget if this overlaps with the IOQT..... I’m pretty sure DOM will send their team straight from Brazil, who will be facing off against Brazil just four days earlier for an Olympic Bid. Brazil usually takes the Pan Am Games very serious too. I expect a strong roster. Brenda Castillo is back training now post-pregnancy. She will not play in the Pan Am Cup, but I cannot fathom a possibility that she won’t be available for the Olympic Qualif/Pan Am Games.

Apparently there was a scrimmage tonight with the Pan Am (Cup/games?) training team. Of course in typical USAV fashion, there was hardly any coverage or media

They couldn't even be bothered to put up a stationary feed for the their hard core followers. Where is their sales and marketing guy?

LOL, this is a USA thread so I wanted to remove bias from the post . Plus these scrimmages aren't the best barometers

Passing numbers from Plummer and RJP are...not great. Glad to see White and Curry did well.

They’re missing Krystal Rivers on the roster. Curious who they are using as a second setter to Lilley for the PanAm Cup next week.

Passing numbers from Plummer and RJP are...not great. Glad to see White and Curry did well. Same could be said about Rolfzen's numbers on less attempts. Still wondering who's on the Pan Am Cup roster.... likely some of the remaining players from the Pan Am training team?

Still wondering who's on the Pan Am Cup roster.... likely some of the remaining players from the Pan Am training team? It has to be pretty close to that roster since it’s the training team, right?? Of the 17, take off probably a MB, an OH, a Libero and add a different setter. And really it won’t be all that different from the PanAm Games roster.

Interesting to see that Lee played Opposite in the two sets she was on. Plummer was OH1 all four sets, I’m pretty sure she was OH2 in the match against Canada.
