She mentioned earlier with her grad school announcement she wasn’t planning on it. That was before COVID but I don’t think anything has changed

2022 recruit Gabby Walker commits to USC. Out of the Dallas area. Has medaled for years in various junior national championships. Tall and slender, but has excellent defensive skills. Top level court IQ. Her long time partner Maggie Boyd committed to UCLA. Can’t think of a another 2022 I’d rate above her.

Yes, that was a team of Pepperdine starters, and the current best adults making the rounds in Texas that those two 16 year olds beat.

Another 2022 verbal commitment for USC, Mabyn Thomas, also out of the Dallas area. Left handed defender, recently won the P1440 Southern and Southwest regional championships. So we have Texas 2022's going to USC, Gabby Walker and Mabyn Thomas - UCLA, Maggie Boyd and Maci Butler - Florida State, Chloe Charles and Arden Besecker - Pepperdine, Gracey Campbell.

Van Deusen, looks like a blocker. Also Bailey Showalter from Washington (blocker) , and Madison White from Arizona. I would think that would do it for now with 2022s.
UCLA seems to have come out on top with 2021's. Jessica Smith, Kate Hashmann, and now former USC commit, Natalie Myszkowski

Who is going to play with Tina Graudina at #1? Let's hope she comes back. After seeing the podcast with Harward putting down her partner Halgren and the rest of the SC team while she struggled and did not have a good performance last season. The highest she has gotten was maybe in the 3 position at her best at Long Beach, it is probably not going to be her. After watching many of the matches last season, her SC teammates definitely wanted to win contrary to Harward's not so nice remarks on viral volley podcast.

I'd invite anybody to go to 12:05 of that podcast and decide for themselves if Harward is putting down her partner. She simply saying the mindset at the start of the season was too focused on "getting better" and not enough on securing the win. That, all mixed in with positive remarks about the team. Also, I was at the Boat Ride and her play there was on another level than when I watched her at the UCLA match.

Tina will be in Los Angeles after the European Championships in Latvia where she will be defending her title, she has 2 years of eligibility but will probably only play one. So who will partner with her at #1?
