Nadal/Krygios is semi final worthy match 2 players who Nadal wants to beat and makes it personal are Soderling and Krygios. if Krygios is on his game and is on good behavior Nadal can lose. nadal is my all time favorite player. its really only semi final worthy if Nick bothers to show up. half the time he doesnt and his matches are quite bad. he didnt look very good vs Thompson. I hope its a cracker though. Krygios did drill Rafa. krygios has world class talent with a 10 cent head.

Konta vs Petra is going to be a popcorn match. Im not really sure about the rest. Maybe Barty/Riske. Riske is as close to a grass court specialist as they go on the women's side.

I think the WTA needs to have these QF's: Barty/Serena, Mertens/Kvitova, Svitolina/Pliskova, Halep/Yastremska Especially after this year's Roland Garros, they need to have some big names making deep runs here.

As much as I like Simona I don't think she'll be in the semi-finals her serve is genuinely awful. The WTA needs their big names in the semis. Kvitova needs to show her prowess on grass and Pliskova needs to maintain her form. She has the easiest path to the final.

Yeah, I'm unsure if Halep will make the SF either. I want Kvitova to win this year, especially after she got so close in Australia. But really, I think the winner will come from the top half. Just would prefer it to be Kvitova, then i guess Serena or Barty, any of those three would be good for the women's game. Halep/Svitolina have games that are much better suited for the clay/slow hard courts.
