Konta vs Petra is going to be a popcorn match. Im not really sure about the rest. Maybe Barty/Riske. Riske is as close to a grass court specialist as they go on the women's side. And Riske knocks out the World No1 in three sets. Wow

Tuesdays QF Matches Riske/Williams Konta/Strycova Svitolina/Muchova Halep/Zhang
I am almost begging for Williams, Konta, Halep, and Svitolina to come through. These top players need to start getting consistent results at the majors, bring the WTA back to its glory days of the late 90s to mid-late 00s.

Brad Gilbert just said there have been 12 different semi finalists so far this year. Not surprising. Glad that Svitolina or Halep will make their first Wimbledon final, and congrats to Svitolina on her first major SF,. This was the last major I’d expect to see her reach the SF, let alone being her very first.

I expect Serena/Strycova to be relatively straight forward tomorrow *stares in Vinci tho* but Svitolina/Halep is going to be a hot mess, both have terrible serves.

Women's Doubles SF's were also today, the top 4 seeds were all there - such a contrast from the Women's Singles. Great weekend for tennis coming up though! Serena vs Simona, Nole vs Roger, Dabrowski/Xu vs Strycova/Hsieh in Women's Doubles, Mahut/Roger-Vasselin in the Men's Doubles final, Ostapenko vs Latisha Chan (Martina Hingis last doubles partner) in the Mixed final.

Federer vs Nadal was an amazing match. A rivalry for the ages. Federer for a long time had no answer to Nadal, but we saw in the 2017 Australian Open final that Federer has finally found the way to beat Nadal.
