Federer has finally found the way to beat Nadal. If the answer is "by winning more sets than Nadal does", I could have told him that a while ago.

Federer has won 6 of the last 8 matches they've played (2014 Aus to 2019 Wim - losses were at 2014 Aus and 2019 RG)

That's the question that Federer has mastered. At majors, you win more games in three of the sets And you preferably play him on non-clay surfaces haha.

both of these finals are going to be great.
Can Simona push Serena enough to get her first Wimbledon(Kerber who plays a similar defensive style dragged Serena last year in the final) or will Serena finally get 24?
Novak-Fed has so many implications on future GOAT status, winner takes a big step imo

Women's Doubles SF's were also today, the top 4 seeds were all there - such a contrast from the Women's Singles. Great weekend for tennis coming up though! Serena vs Simona, Nole vs Roger, Dabrowski/Xu vs Strycova/Hsieh in Women's Doubles, Mahut/Roger-Vasselin in the Men's Doubles final, Ostapenko vs Latisha Chan (Martina Hingis last doubles partner) in the Mixed final. Ostapenko in doubles is my new favorite thing (This whole thread)

Nole win moves him to 16, but a Fed win gives more breathing room between him and Nadal, again. I don't think Halep can push Serena like Kerber did, but i just hope it's a good match for when I watch it on replay lol.

And Halep drags Serena 6-2, 6-2. Halep was never broken in the match and wins her first Wimbledon title

Federer vs Nadal was an amazing match. A rivalry for the ages. Federer for a long time had no answer to Nadal, but we saw in the 2017 Australian Open final that Federer has finally found the way to beat Nadal. Federer flattened out his back hand to be able Nadal's forehand whip

Federer wins if it goes 4.
The Joker wins in a sweep or in 5.

Congrats bigfan you went 1 for 3 in your called it posts! @avid are you as shocked as me that Halep now has a second major, and that second comes from demolishing the goat on the grass of SW19?? One break point faced, is insane, even for how poorly Serena played. Congrats to Simona, no longer a one slam wonder! Men's final tomorrow, either way, tennis wins (thanks Roger!)

Serena was put in the woodshed and could never get out. Serena too old? So old that she got to the final match? Perhaps not too old, but upsets helped her as she only played two ranked players in the entire tournament: #18 in the fourth round, and #7 in the finals.
