I would be shocked to see Federer win tomorrow(though I said I'd be shocked if Serena didn't)
The level Novak has in BO5 is just insane

Dam, I want Serena to pass Margaret Court's record. It has eluded her for several years now. The tennis people were talking yesterday that 11 of the Australian Opens Margaret won were really amateur events. Anyway I think Serena is the best women's tennis player that has lived. I pick Novak to win today. But really happy if Roger can do it!

For example: Chris Evert skipped it many times, she only entered it 6 times in her whole career. She also skipped some French Open’s during her prime as well(3 years in a row, too) - the grand slams while obviously prestigious weren’t looked at as a race to the goat status like it is now. Hence why players would not enter them all, plus tennis was a little different back then, team tennis events caused some players to miss majors ie. Borg 1977 French, and Borg also played the Aus one time in his relatively short career.

Not their finest match, but a dramatic fifth set that led to a tiebreak was a good way to end. Djokovic will be looking to inch even closer at the Open. At the same age Federer and Nadal both had 17 slams by seasons end, Djokovic currently at 16. What a golden age for Men’s tennis (although we do need to have the next gen crew start to wiggle their way in and steal some slams imo.)

Father Time will take out Federer soon and Nadal's body might not hold up. The Joker could have several more good years if he's mentally into it.

5th set and tiebreaker at 12-12. At least the tiebreaker was decisive. Would have been even worse to lose that by 2.

I don't think I've ever seen Novak play. Such is the age of ESPN-less me.
Hell. I've barely seen Roger play and he's thirty-frickin'-eight.

People have been questioning federer’s age and nadal’s body for years. I’ve given up on expecting those two things to become issues. Lol

Wow. Novak wins in a marathon match! Saved match points! What a final!! Considering the crowd was mostly in Federer's corner, I give the Joker credit for pulling out the win. Although, after almost 5 hours I got tired of watching. There should be a four hour limit, or something. I skipped out at 10-10 in the fifth and went to bed. They really need to do something about shortening these matches.

Before there was no tiebreak and it just went until the final set was won by two games (mainly due to Isner and his long matches, Anderson too).
