Preseason poll will be coming out soon. Here is my list and some roster info. 1. UCF. Returns everyone but a good libero. Looks like they added an experienced libero from NC State. This is the team to beat but they did show signs of weakness late in the season. 2. Cinci One word: Jordan Thompson. Ok she’s so good I said 2. They lose some good players so this team could have issues but Thompson can carry a huge load. Only thing that can stop her is staying on the national team. 3. Tulane. Return all but 1 middle. It appears this team could be very good. Winning 29 games last year with 4 freshmen starting was a nice run. Guess we will find out if they are for real. ... Tulane is #3? They didn't play anybody out of conference last year and still lost 3 times, to RPI #161, #101 and #90. That doesn't sound much like a playoff team. I’m going with what they did in October/November/December. No loses in October. 1 loss to Cinci in November. 1 loss to Iowa St in December. Went 20-2 during that stretch. All with 4 freshmen and 2 sophomores. I hope ECU is better. Just hard to tell. Tulsa needs those Turkish transfers to play big. If they do then they could be good. Uconn could be better than I predicted. Really nice Canadian left side. We will see.

Huh I forgot Kuchmaner came over to UCF... wonder why... she is from NC and had a great season. Maybe UCF gave her a Scholly?

UCF and Cinci receiving votes. With what UCF returns they should be ranked in the 20’s. First poll is always so lazy by the AVCA.

Even though I will be pulling for the Bearcats, my official pick is UCF simply because they have one of the big bad Sabol sisters.

Bearcats lost a lot. Thompson is going to break all the records if she stays healthy. Just not sure how good they will be. Any updates on UCF? Lost a great libero. And had setter /injury problems at the end of the season. Anyone with news on them?
Poll should be out soon.

Thompson will be taking the lion's share of the headlines and the rest of the AAC may suffer. IOW, the rocket may stay on the launching pad.

UCF and Tulane return a lot of talent, they were really young, while Tulsa has incoming Turkish talent along with a 6’6 oppo from Florida State. Cincinnati will not roll through the AAC. They still have many questions. .

Did the Bearcats cut Sabrina Wolf?
Should be a senior, but not on their roster.

Interesting exhibition in Wichita today with the Shocks taking on Kansas. Lambo has basically scrapped the entire team and started over in the off season. So. OH Megan Taflinger and Jr MB Emma Wright will be the only significant returning players to see the floor this year with Gio out for the year with a knee injury.
Took a minor miracle for the match not to be a Shocker sweep. A replay reversal saved the 1st of 7 set points and the Jayhawks ended up winning the 2nd 28-26 after dropping the 1st 25-23. WSU ran away with the 3rd 25-11 before emptying the bench in the 4th and 5th, dropping both.
Not saying WSU is going to win the league, but the debacle that was 2018 is going to be in the rear view, fast. Lambo got some dudes and some players with a lot of "want to". I'm afraid we bit off more than we can chew with the schedule and I hope they can use it to get better and be very competitive come league time.

That’s great news. Shockers may be better than my 6th pick. Not sure how good Kansas is though. They are picked 7th in the Big 12. Looks like this result shows the Big 12 and AAC are about even:)

Looks like this result shows the Big 12 and AAC are about even:) How the, what the, I mean what drugs you on? I mean, Big 12 in 2018: 2 tournament teams, 1 was seeded. AAC in 2018: 2 tournament teams, 1 was seeded. I don't see much of a difference there. LOL
