Gosh, this sounds like backtracking Of course you don't understand. It's economics. Economics is a junk science with very few falsifiable underlying principles. Remember when every economist said Trump's election would crash the economy? But it didn't. Or when the last two day market downturn was a harbinger of the Trump caused Great Depression of 2018? Except it wasn't. If economists could actually understand and predict economies they wouldn't be economists/witch doctors, they would be wealthy retirees.

Sometimes, economists let their economics get too close to their political preferences and silliness follows. Climatologists and meteorologists have been known to have the same problem.

www.daytondailynews.com/events/dave-chappelle-block-party-will-help-reclaim-the-oregon-district-bar-manager-says/yCAdIwswzEhjqHQsHJb66N/Organizers of Gem City Shine, a free block party hosted by Dave Chappelle in Dayton’s Oregon District from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 25, say the event is meant to reclaim the neighborhood following the mass shooting, in which a 24-year-old gunman killed nine people and injured dozens of others before being killed by police. An unannounced list of national and local performers is slated to appear at the festival, which is expected to draw more than 20,000 people. Rapper Kanye West was spotted at RiverScape MetroPark Friday afternoon. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The business owners are obviously psyched and you can bet that seurity is tight. They expect 20,000 people. I didn't get a ticket, I am hoping they show some of it on TV. Chappelle lives in Yellow Springs, a hip neighborhood outside of Dayton, he's lived there for a while. People see him walking around town all the time and nobody really goes out of their way to bother him. He has thrown an outrageous annual party in his barn for his neighbors for years, it is THE hot ticket.

Because there is zero scientific evidence that we are changing the climate on Earth, to our own detriment.

If Martha’s Vineyard is going to be underwater in 12 years why on earth did Obama buy a $15 million Estate on the island?

Typical. We go from the science to Obama.
You are so dumb it hurts.

Because there is zero scientific evidence that we are changing the climate on Earth, to our own detriment. I didn't say there was no correlation between climate change and human activity. I do question how much. How does one explain all of the past's climate oscillations?

You really want to know the answer? Because there are numerous places you can read about it, rather than read what I have to say.
But the greenhouse effect isn't made up, nor is the correlation between human activity and our current climate change.
I will present you with an opinion, however, because I know how much you love mine. There are too many people in the world and we are going to make it unlivable for our species if we don't figure out how to deal with that "fact." Will we? Nope. What's going on in Brazil right now is a perfect example. They say "Why does the responsibility fall on us? Why can't we do what you all have already done?" Same thing with China, India, etc. Hard to argue with them.
Either we lead the fight or we are all doomed. Well, maybe not you and I. But our species.
Guns are just another part of this same mentality.

Overpopulation is a concern. I mean, you can’t:
1. Tell people not to have children (or just have one child),
2. Stop medical advancement,
3. Promote war,
4. Promote mass killings, e.g., genocide
5. Let diseases and famine play out naturally.

Nope, you can't. We are like weeds, only worse.
What you CAN do is not make it difficult to obtain contraception. Talk about immorality disguised as morality.
Anyhow, the planet will take care of the problem if we don't.

Right. Because there is zero scientific evidence that we are changing the climate on Earth, to our own detriment. I didn't say there was no correlation between climate change and human activity. I do question how much. How does one explain all of the past's climate oscillations? Well, you could study it and find out. But the short answer is that just because people do die naturally does not mean their deaths can't also be man-made. Natural climate shifts in the past don't mean that humans can't be shifting it now. (In fact, it's the opposite. Several known natural climate shifts in the past were because of CO2. Not human-caused CO2, but rather caused by massive basalt floods. If anything this is strong evidence that CO2, whether released by basalt or by humans, does change the climate.)

It's the same mentality -- and I'm not saying it's gnu's mentality -- that the ocean is too big for us to destroy. That we can't overfish it or dump too much oil and garbage into it.
That too is being proven false. The planet cannot sustain this many human beings, not if we continue to consume the way we will continue to consume.

I'm preparing for this day: This is how they do it in space. They collect the water from breath, urine, handwashing and toothbrushing, and also the exhaust from electrical fuel cells. Clean it up and there you go: water.
