Phil is old, Jake is older, Casey is also oldish...once the Olympics are over, who is Tay Crabb gonna pickup? Budinger is no spring chicken, but he has a lot of good years in him. That could be a good team for the 2024 Olympic cycle.

Yes, I've discussed this strong possibility many months ago, Chase will be our best big going forward, those two pairing up is an inevitability after Tokyo.

I agree but nothing is happening until after Tokyo.

If there’s still time for Olympic run, why wouldn’t he make the switch now as it seems Gibb/Crabb are outside looking in and their results haven’t been great internationally.

Yes, to all of the above! But as 405 said, the timing just is what it is. Pre-Olympics anyone could drop anyone at any time and create a dream pairing, but people are pretty locked in by now. Obviously C-Bud is the best option as of now; are there any other dark horse blockers Crabb would consider...in your humble opinions?

There is no way they can get 12 events in as a team right now to June 2020. You only have to play 12 events as an individual to be eligible. Suppose only one US team finishes in the top 18. Then you put your best team together for the Continental Cup. Doesn’t have to be a current team.

Brian Cook is coming back soon. Him and Tay are great friends and are potentially thinking about making a run

Taylor crabbe? I'm not that would be the smartest thing for his career.

Brian Cook is coming back soon. Him and Tay are great friends and are potentially thinking about making a run Is this something to be known they actually discussed, or is this Brian talking to people at the beach or gym saying he thinks he could talk Taylor into partnering for a run? Two major differences, one is a world class multi sport professional athlete.....the other is someone coming off injury that didn't really get a chance to make that much noise before hand anyways.
