Is Ricardo walking around telling guys "look at my resume"? Or he is just dumping, being dumped, hating on life, etc??

avp sent an email to the athletes letting them know they reserve the right to cancel tournaments at any time... Uh oh. Pre-cursor for Chicgo? Or Hawaii? That can't be good.

I'm assuming the cancellation has to do with the water levels around Lake Michigan. I think they were already limiting the qualifier to ~30 teams, they're probably just warning people in case the site completely floods and is unusable.

Does anyone know the actual chances Chicago gets canceled? Anyone with insider knowledge? I remembered Jeff Samuels saying somewhere that Chicago is a lot of players' favorite site... would be a shame

I think they were already limiting the qualifier to ~30 teams, they're probably just warning people in case the site completely floods and is unusable. The water level has been coming up slowly every year at Oak Street to where they have to move stadium court back the last few years. There was a concert that got cancelled at a different beach earlier this year called Mamby Beach or something that had to cancel the entire concert after they did not have enough room and permits to set up due to water levels and the protection of an endangered bird sanctuary. Cancelling this would be a huge let down as it is a very popular tourney, however I am just guessing they are covering all their bases.

Fun fact: Ricardo and Loomis were opponents in the final of the 2007 Pan-Am Games in Rio.

Unless he has indoor commitments, yes. Or maybe Ratledge with Rafu out? Rat has picked up Del Sol. Good opportunity for Skylar. Honer picked up Yoder.
