How is the playoffs put together for Wisconsin? In FL, we do not have many boys teams I would say as other states so we are all in one class. That is correct. In Wisconsin, we have 60 teams who are all in the same class (division) for boys volleyball. All teams here make the "WIAA State Tournament." The state is divided into eight sectionals, and the winners of these sectionals will play at the Resch Center in Green Bay Nov. 7-9 to crown one state champion. There are a handful of schools that would not be "Division 1" if we were comparing it to how the girls programs are divided into four divisions. But most of the boys high schools in the state would classify as "Division 1" or "Bigger schools" in the state of Wisconsin.

As an FYI, here is the link to the WIAA website, specifically the historical results, so you can see the past results, brackets, etc.

Anyone hear of any results from BEast or Racine? Waukesha West beat Mukwonago in two at Racine. This tournament was really weird most of the better teams in the tournament seemed to have come out flat today.

I don’t have full results but believe playoffs for Brook East Invite went as follows:
Quarterfinals: Kimberly def Germantown, Appleton North def Middleton, CMH def Marquette, Kaukauna def Tosa East Semifinals: Kimberly def Kaukauna, Appleton North def CMH Finals: Kimberly def Appleton North
A lot of close matches all day and a lot of 3 set matches.

Sheesh. FVA appears to be all around strong once again, Kaukauna and Appleton North appear to have entered the chat... CMH also looks consistently good early. Semis in both of their tournaments.

Is Waukesha West the only team in the State without a match loss?

Is Waukesha West the only team in the State without a match loss? . Of the contenders, I think so. They also haven’t been super battle tested yet, by that I mean playing a top 5 team. They did beat KM who I believe was 9th in the last poll pretty convincingly, and Muskego who I believe got an honorable mention convincingly. I believe because of past seasons in which they weren’t all that successful they miss out on some big invites like KM, New Berlin, and I believe also Kaukauna the past few seasons at least. Kind of a shame, because their team is pretty dang good this year it would appear. Hard to judge on whether the undefeated means anything until they face a Marquette, CMH, Kimberly, or Germantown type team.
