so then I guess Reid would get Budinger for a couple of years, but then Budinger would want a younger defender to make a run for 2024.
So we'd have:
Reid/Chase T2 Cook/Taylor
unless Benesh emerges.

Does Cook really have potential to be anything better than a low level AVP main draw player? Especially after a major injury that’s kept him out of action for two years?
I’d actually be more excited to see his fiancé come out to the beach for the next quad.

As I said the last time this came up I can’t see a scenario where Taylor passes on Chase for an unproven injury prone buddy. Chase will be far and away the best Big we have post 2020.

Obviously not even able to play yet. Absolutely zero match experience. I wouldnt bet on him regardless of his potential at this point, and I cant take the cook and Taylor rumors seriously right now. The guy has zero points.

I'm the guy who touted Cook before his injury but this will not be happening. They are buddies but Taylor will be hooking up with Chase when the race for Tokyo is over. If Taylor doesn't make it, by first tournament next season.

Could have swore I saw him walking around a tourney last year with an immobilizer on. If I remember correctly, it was a combination of knee, hip, and shoulder. Three different nagging injuries of varying severity that were all surgically addressed

I’m pretty sure he tore his Achilles. That’s the reason he was out for so long

http://instagram.com/p/BiDrBb1nxW1 It was a bunch of things: torn cartilage in right knee (had to grow cartridge to repair it), torn labrum in right hip, partially torn labrum and rotator cuff (as we all get from playing). So yeah he's had some issues to work through. As an aside, when I would see his name in the results, I kept thinking it was a guy that used to play basketball for Illinois in college and then for the Lakers for a few years. It wasn't until I saw a stream a few years ago I realized it wasn't the same guy.

THanks for tracking that down ramo2653. It looks like it was dated April of 2018.

That’s a lot of serious injuries for someone in his mid-20s. Not sure I’d put much faith in his ability to stay healthy.
