Here’s my thoughts as a Plummer Stan. Yes she had a pretty rough summer. I thought she would’ve played better, but it’s clear she has challenges to overcome in order to be successful internationally. Thompson has high hops, good contact point, and seemingly fast-twitch muscles. She thrived in the USA system. Plummer otoh, is certainly a more imposing figure at 6’6 and with more body mass (not body shaming here, just acknowledging the difference in body types). She also was thrown into play right after finishing school, and imo thrives with high, but quick sets. I think that stamina/conditioning could def improve. I don’t think we need to cut down Plummer bc of her performance in her debut for USA, but I also think it’s fair to assess her challenges/struggles. We all know she has the POTENTIAL to be dynamite

Will it looks like the Pac 12 with Plummer and the AAC with Thompson are close but the edge goes to the AAC over the PAC 12......

Well, I'm not sure Plummer is the best player on Stanford's team -> Dare to DreamOh really? Who’s better? I'm still not sure who you are, but you are like a bulldog grabbing on to the throat of any comment you think disrespects Plummer. The sheer tenacity of it is impressive, in a way.

What’s impressive is that people can comment on every little thing she does wrong instead of looking at the positives, and how much she has brought to Stanford. Do they win their regional last year without her? The answer is no they don’t. What’s impressive is the target she has on her back all the times from people who don’t give her a fair shot. Lastly, those are the same people that are kind and appreciate her to her face, but then act like complete jerks on here. That’s what impressive, how people can be so two faced. People don’t give her a fair shot and it’s annoying.

Let me assure you that 1) I think she's an outstanding player and 2) if you want, I'll promise never to be kind and appreciative to her face, should I ever meet her.

So down 1-0 in sets, and then down 11-17 in set two. Literally gave her the ball every time and low and behold they win. You really think they come back from 0-2 in that situation, when no one else would put the ball down? Bizarre? That’s the pot calling the kettle black when you have a tendency to point out every thing she does wrong in any given game you choose to watch in which she plays.

It would’ve been a different game without Plummer on the court so you can’t say they’d be down 0-1 in sets. Also, no. I do not do that, you’ve imagined that to be reality in your head. Are you dirtrider who finally took a grammar class?

Are you dirtrider who finally took a grammar class? So during the PanAms that wasn’t you pointing out every time she got blocked or hit out? Yet when other players do the same you choose not to comment. And youre right, it would’ve been a different game, meaning Stanford would’ve gotten whooped even worse in that set and beyond.

So during the PanAms that wasn’t you pointing out every time she got blocked or hit out? Correct, that wasn’t me. You have a really bad (or warped) memory.
