The tournament starts Sept 2 in Manitoba, Canada.
And we haven’t had an official roster and I don’t think anyone is getting ready to go to Canada as of today. Are we skipping this one?

The Worsley brothers, Jarman, Schmitt, Kyle Russell, Kyle Ensing, DeFalco, Ma’a, Saeta, Tuaniga, Shaw, Kessel, Hugeman, Wieczorek are training in Anaheim. Who’s going? They must have this assignment, otherwise they wouldn’t be still training. Others like Kupono, JT Hatch, Corey Chavers have reported to their clubs already.

In one USAV ig story, DeFalco and B Sander are on one side, and I guess Wieczorek and Kessel on the other side. Assuming DeFalco is back, on B team tho

I’m wondering if they are skipping this one. Same with the women’s team.
I remember one of the B team members said they were back in the gym on Monday preparing for the World Cup. Jarman, maybe?? None of the A team members have joined their club teams and also appear to be in the gym, so not sure what is going on. Do they really need 20+ players preparing for World Cup? Or are they traveling more than 14 to Japan? It might just be for experience with the NT.

Who has any interest in a tournament at that time. For the men’s , the organizers schedule lists USA as a participant. If nobody gets on the plane tomorrow, that will be a no show

So probably the team you saw practicing on the USA Insta stories the other day.

Many are hoping to make the roster for the FIVB World Cup in October and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
“This is a great opportunity for this group to go and prove that they’re worthy of being on the World Cup roster,”
— there u have it.

Jendryk and Stahl are basically locks for World Cup, if Hugeman goes back to school. Averill and McDonnell both just got surgery, and I don’t think Jarman and Schmitt are taking over their spots.
Dagostino looks to replace Watten 110%. If they don’t insist on bringing both Ma’a and K Shoji like they did the last couple of times, he should go to World Cup. Again, Saeta was snubbed. Will DeFalco make a run now that Muagututia is set in A team

If this squad wins the whole thing, certain players will be looked at seriously like Hugeman in his international debut in the last week of VNL and later getting promotion

S: Ma’a, J Worsley (Ma’a captain) OPP: Ensing, K Russell OH: DeFalco, B Sander, Wieczorek, Kessel MB: Jendryk, Stahl, Huhmann, Carmody L: Dagostino, G Worsley A pretty strong roster. Wasn’t expecting to see Jendryk or Ma’a. Motivation for them both. And time for DeFalco to show what he’s got since, as you said, Muagututia seems to now be a fixture on the A squad. I’m also interested in seeing Dagostino on the A squad for World Cup, but not sure if he will be named since there is no way the US brings 2 Liberos to Tokyo. Speraw will still probably be evaluating Ma’a!!!
