Whoa. Cuba through the final beating Canada 3-1! Canada not looking great. USA vs. Mexico is up next! Lol such an embarrassing loss. Canada has been so underwhelming this year, and in all honesty I’m worried that they won’t qualify for Tokyo. This Cuban team struggled to beat the Next Gen Canadian team. In fact they competed against Cuba better than the “A team”.

In other news, Puerto Rico beat DR for fifth place and claimed the last spot in the Continental Olympic Qualifier next year.
Cuba, Canada, Mexico and PR will compete for an Olympic spot.

Worsley got a chance to show what he could do in last half of match. I don-t think he can play at international level, just too short to play in the front. Micah is next level though, the guy can ball and is proving it.

I was hoping he would get that surgery now if not sooner. Depending on the extent, I would think he will be ready to go come late July 2020. For Japan at the end of this month, I expect Matt to shift over to take some extra work on the Left and Patch and Shaw to battle for more consistent production on the opposite. I ,too, hope TJ will be up for the challenge. This Norceca tourney will be a great opportunity to demonstrate some consistent leadership and production. * OH is super thin in Anaheim right now Why is Shaw still in conversation for team A? He's in the gym as a practice player.

Too bad the guy is not physical nor athletic enough for the next level

I haven't seen any of this tournament. I assume that it's still Ma'a, Stahl, Jendryk, and DeFalco in conversation to be on the World Cup roster in October? Anybody else standing out?

Micah is next level though, the guy can ball and is proving it. Speraw is going to have a few interesting choices ahead of him early next summer.

I think every one of the starting lineup except Ensing will likely make World Cup roster. Taylor Sander is out due to shoulder injury, opening up a spot for either DeFalco or his brother. If they bring 15 players, which is allowed in this World Cup, both DeFalco and B Sander will make it

Cuba led in kills (46-34) and dominated from the service line (10-5 in aces).
Admittedly, Cuba has better serve than this US lineup.
Canada will go head to head against Cuba for an Olympic spot
