These Oregon and Penn State matches are huge- I think there will be a strong sense of the caliber of teams in the pac12 and big10

As a diehard and longtime Stanford fan, I've gotta give major props to TX...that was a tough win today! UT has a great future wth Fields and Phillips. Whew - FL/TX down, PSU/MN/NB/BYU still ahead...what a pre-season gauntlet of ranked teams! I was like, "WTF is 'NB'?", so I checked their schedule. I submit to you that this is a highly nonstandard way to refer to "Nebraska", whether you mean the school or the state. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._state_abbreviations - NB is used by the US Coast Guard for Nebraska...and originally Nebraska was "NB"; but, in November 1969, the Post Office changed it to "NE" to avoid confusion with New Brunswick in Canada.

I agree with you; it's still pre-season and too early to see how the conferences will do in post-season, but Stanford did win again @ Penn State (never easy) and MN swept OR...would expect Stanford to beat MN 3-1 tomorrow and Penn State by the same score over OR

NB is used by the US Coast Guard for Nebraska. Nebraska is a long, long way from any coast.

I actually haven't been doing many of the match result updates. I'm very thankful that other people have helped with putting those in as matches finish throughout the week!

they do patrol the Mighty Missouri River, keeping the ever fragile peace between Nebraska & Iowa Actively stopping the poaching of CORN between citizens in both states has to be the number one mission of the Coast Guard. Having had some of this *special Corn*, I for one think it is worth every penny spent in its defense. Could you imagine if those shinners got a hold of some truly epic sweet corn?
