13 people correctly picked Cal Poly over Utah 7 people correctly picked UCF over Illinois 8 people correctly picked Minnesota over Stanford Apparently I needed a crystal ball to have made those picks. (Yes, I'm whining... It's the third week of a bloodbath.).

At this point, I think publius 's fictitious picks are doing better than me.

Who’s leading after tonight? Not to be melodramatic, but I believe we have a winner regardless of the outcome of tomorrow's remaining contest. I have asked my team to confirm but have not yet heard back, so I will defer on a definitive answer.

Nice try! Even with a few more picks, you would have lost the tiebreaker, lol.

I think owlsem and bluepenquin tied for the win. Both have 19 correct and have Marquette winning. And crazy enough both picked 205 for the tie breaker. Cavalier 84 and vbcoach06 also had 19 correct and Marquette picked but picked the tiebreaker as 120 and 163 respectively.

With one match yet to be played, we have one contestant with an unsurmountable lead. Congratulations to hoosierman for winning this week’s contest. hoosierman correctly picked 19 of 24 matches and picked Marquette for match #25. The following 8 contestants correctly picked 18 of the 24 matches and also picked Marquette for match #25: bluepenquin , Cavalier 84 , Mark Richards , onlyPTWs , owlsem , toomuchvb , vbman100 and vbcoach06 . cyfan1965 correctly picked 17 of the 24 matches and picked Illinois State to win the final match. If it does so, cyfan1965 will join the above 8 in a tie for second place.
Final results will be posted later today.

Umm... WHAT. I have been a part of this board for FOURTEEN freaking years and this is the first time I have ever won this contest. Thank you to publius and vballfan17 for all of your hard work and the people that help you conduct it every week. This is so unexpected, I, uh, I didn't even have a speech prepared. Uh, but I would like to say this: Winning this contest is not something you can do all on your own. Many, many people contributed to my success. Uh, I'd like to thank my parents for never giving me a life beyond volleyball, the L.A. city bus driver for taking a chance on an unknown kid, and, uh, last but not least, the wonderful crew at McDonalds for spending hours making those egg McMuffins, without which I might never have won this contest.
