Am I the only one who think this current set of pin hitters for Penn State (Cathey/Gorrell/Parker) could be one of the least impressive (trying to be nice and not use the word “worst”) in their history? I mean don’t get me wrong - in the years that I have been following Rose’s team, they have always been impressive in the pin. The graduation of Nia Reed/Taylor Leath and the inability to attract top OHs the past few years certainly contributed to this. They have a dynamic duo though in the middle.. Amanda Rome didn’t exactly light it up on the pin forget who she had with her at the time

The gazillion dollar question: Can State stop Plummer? We are four matches in and no one has come close.

Isn't 9pm really late to start a match?

Isn't 9pm really late to start a match? Not on the West Coast.

Clearly with
Penn St. 15-0 in sets this year, Stanford 12-2 in sets this year,
Penn St. is 25% or 30% better than Stanford.
sorry, couldn't resist going down the road of illogic after reading a poster who said the best players of 10 years ago are clearly better than the best of the current crop.
*edit* fixed, thanks.

That will depend on whether or not KP has a .400+ night or a sub .200 night 😂😂. Jokes aside, this Stanford offense so far is not sustainable. Yes, Stanford has relied on Plummer heavily in the past but at least Fitz was scoring and Alade/Campbell were good enough to keep the opposing block honest. Fitz and Gates were pretty absent for the last two matches
