I hope Pressley is fine. She is the most enjoyable player I have found to watch this season. She just flies through the air - elegantly, seems to hang there a long time, and has a variety of shots once she's up there surveying the view. It's just beautiful to watch. (The one thing that worries me is that she's up so high and then usually lands on one leg, which can be a recipe for disaster.)

Scares me every time.

Stafford, McGhee and van der Mark all stepped up in Pressley’s absence today.
Stafford- 11-3-17 (.471), 3 blocks, led all players with 8 digs (as a middle!)
McGhee- 9-0-10 (.900), 4 blocks
van der Mark- 9-1-15 (.533), 2 blocks

Baylor could be really SCARY if Milana, McGhee, and van der Mark contributes more.

Baylor could be really SCARY if Milana, McGhee, and van der Mark contributes more. Milana is the one who worries me most. McGhee and van der Mark have shown they’re capable, both on offense and defense. Milana, on the other hand, has been consistently mediocre. I think her season high is 8 kills. Luckily, Lockin has made up some for it by being the most offensive she’s ever been. She’s averaging a little over a kill per set

Coach of the year is already in the bag, right?
(I know it isn’t already in the bag but I’m putting it in my bag.)

I remember watching the match against Wisconsin and IDK what her numbers are against Wisky but I remember her playing well and scoring when it matters the most. Also glad that Lockin is setting van der Mark after basically not setting her first week lmaoooo.

I continue to be impressed.

Baylor is a well-rounded team and showed to have some depth with KJ Johnson stepping in for Baylor against a decent Texas State squad
BU swept the Big 12 awards this week- and that was without Stafford and Pressley winning one. Hopefully Milana finds her groove soon and has a breakout conference season

Milana has definitely not hit her stride. I am impressed with her passing though! She is helping the offense use the middles. With all of the offensive weapons, Baylor doesn't necessarily need her to be an offensive weapon. She's been a 6 rotation player up until last season and came back from 2 shoulder surgeries. She played RH all last season and now is playing OH. In system she's more effective but needs to work on her out of system -especially if the majority of her sets are going to be OOS! I've followed her career and know what she is capable of! If I'm a betting man, she'll get it together!

Watched the replay of BU vs Tx State...commentators made it sound like they were just resting Pressley. Might should have rested Stafford, too!

She’s always such a pleasant interviewer and is never afraid to show her personality. She handled the trap question about rankings really well.
