AVP America was stupid to put this in Huntington...they would have had more than twice as many teams in Florida. However, happy to meet anyone that is there. My first beach ‘nationals’ experience

My first beach ‘nationals’ experience You're absolutely correct! Although there are probably some teams that will sign up last minute, this is pretty weak, numbers-wise. FL would have been a better choice...Clearwater specifically.

The biggest problem is that there are virtually zero AVP America tournaments in SoCal for adults other than the Open level AVP Next ones. So I don’t think this is on the radar of local players, and many would have to join AVP America just for one tournament. And of course it’s a long trip for players from the East Coast.
