It's still an achievement. She's not being pitted against anyone so why stir up unnecessary drama just to blast a player? That's just sad. Because that’s what VolleyTalk does. 😆

BOMBSHELL ANNOUNCEMENT! Piccinini is back! She signed with Busto Arsizio! That certainly ups Busto's chances to win the Coppa Italia and maybe even the league at the end of the year!

Their account says you can watch matches live on pmgsport.it ... wonder if that works outside Italy

LVFTV is the official streaming platform, from my previous limited experience with Flo, it is much better than Flo, no delayed streaming, always uploading reply regularly, etc. I'm not sure if it is geo-blocked in the states (I'm watching in Canada), but geo-blocking is never an issue for me, I would've always been able to find a free VPN or just change my browser's geo-location config. The real issue might be the fact that you have to pay in order to watch, I remember I paid for 49 Euro for a whole season, the season is about 8 months long, and you can always watch replays anytime. EDIT: There are also people on inside.volleycountry.com/ posting free game streaming links. Worth checking out the thread inside.volleycountry.com/thread/7174-italy-serie-a1-2019-20/?postID=435617#post435617 when it's game time.

Hoping for a 'one stop shop'. (*without paying!* )

Roni Jones-Perry released from/leaving Brescia. Not sure what happened but was made official on both the team's and RJP's Instagram. She said "stay tuned", so she must be transferring elsewhere which gives me hope.
I think the Italian league may have a been a step too big for RJP at first

How will she do at Monza I wonder? What's your expectation of her?

How will she do at Monza I wonder? What's your expectation of her? I Think its best to not set expectations too high.... its an adjustment to get into the pro game... I'd love to see her on the right, not having to worry about passing. but im not sure if we will or wont see that.. It'll be a big boost to get her ready for the next quad

It'll be a big boost to get her ready for the next quad It seems less likely than OH bc their opposite (Ortolani) is Italian and both OHs (Orthmann and Meijners) are foreign. Their backup opposite is also Italian and the backup OHs are all foreign. They could switch Ortolani to OH but it seems like they're going to want Plummer to be an outside. I'd love it if she played opposite sometimes too but I'm mostly hoping we'll get to see her play in the next few weeks. I'm not expecting her to play on Sunday bc she's only been there since yesterday but they're playing Cuneo at home on Jan 26th and I hope she'll play then.
I don't know what to expect or how long it will take her to get up to speed. She's got a lot of competition at OH on Monza. I really hope it works out and improves her play bc I'd love to see her continue to play in A1.

They tried to make Ortolani an OH early in her career. It never went very far, so I'd be shocked if they went that direction now. Their plan looks like: pass it good enough to set a high ball and let the pin hitters hammer away. Ritorno will be interesting!
