She should be dominating internationally right now if this country's talent in developing talent weren't so few far between.

And just like that, as scheduled, the delusion train has arrived at the station.
Texas sends middles to the national team like it’s their job. Butler will be okay right where she is.

After consideration, next season Butler needs to go to PSU, Illinois, or WSU preferably in that order. Damn, you're annoying. Stick to the Oregon threads.

Why did the highly touted libero for Baylor looked like she just graduated from high school with no confidence? If she is actually highly touted I am having a huge laugh. Probably the worst libero performance iv seen from a libero on a top team, or any team for that matter Highly touted before the match. I don't how good she was in recruiting.

Just rewatched the entire match on Youtube.
Baylor was overmatched by UT's block, plain and simple. Add to that UT's serving which was miles better than when they played Stanford. Add to that the best pair of Middles in the country.
Texas' block stifled a good but not great hitter in Stafford. When does a 2nd Team AA Middle hit ZERO? The sets weren't terrible, or even bad ... they were average.
As to Baylor's Libero, not sure where that criticism comes from. Again, average but not terrible.
Sometimes we look for and exaggerate weaknesses in the team that was soundly defeated, rather than giving credt to the victor and understanding Texas has the most talented (on paper) team in the country, and played their best game of the year by far.
To my eyes, Texas is a far more talented team than Stanford, Wisconsin, or Nebraska with Butler's return, and their recent effective emphasis on defense and serving. I think they will enter the post season as favorites for the Title.

Texas passed lights out. Texas wins handily. That being said, now you say all teams are inferior to Texas? Seems like you're forgetting this was Baylor's worst match. You forget the passing woes that have plagued them up until this match. You forget the setting issues that have caused people to doubt Jenna. Seems a little premature and short-sighted.

I don't how good she was in recruiting. She was a walk-on at Baylor. Played a lot as a DS her freshman year. Saw action in maybe 5 matches as a sophomore and has been the libero for the past two seasons. She’s been a lot better this season than she was last year. She was the weak link on last years squad but has been a liability this season up until the Texas game.

Besides, I have watched a half dozen Stanford matches, and at least four Wisconsin matches this year. My opinion is that if Texas can pass, nobody in the country can deal with their blocking or Middles.

^ if they're going to devote twice as much time in practice to passing than they have before, at least THEY believe they can get their SR better. If that happens, everybody better duck. The rest of this season will tell whether they are successful, but the effort and time could pay off in spades.
