One thing I like about going vb matches is that there aren't too many rude fans. There are rude traditions I hate, like pig calls, and other things, but as a whole I've never encountered rude fan bases. I could name certain rude fans on this board that are associated with specific teams, but I will try not to lump them in as representative.

I'd also agree that it's hard to find "rude" fans, but I think the BYU fans can take things too far.

Hawaii gives free leis to visiting doofs. If you're sort of new to the islands, have a weak immune system, and/or have sensitive skin, making contact with leis may give you an allergic reaction, e.g., rash, blister. I'd say it's kind of rude to generally drape people with some exotic plant or flower over their neck when you don't even know if that plant or flower may end up killing them.
I mean, come on. It's basic survival rule: don't touch an unknown tropical plant or flower with your bare skin!

Poster's comment above about BYU sparked the thought that it likely would be good for the college game if a few more fans (or fanbases) were considered "rude". Need more spirited crowds like the one at BYU when we played them at regionals last year. Wish we had played that game at Gregory where we would have had a similar crowd behind us, but players love playing in front of enthusiastic crowds, even if they are the visitor.

Cant pick up on a specific fanbase that is rude but there is one rude action that I cannot stand
When a player gets hurt in the opposing teams home gym and the fans start cheering that is just not ok
If Im correct I remember Pitt fans doing this when Willow Johnson got hurt (just an ex)

Well, I am a bit of an ass I still can't believe you killed Obi-Wan like that. Have someone cut your legs and arms off and watch the flesh burn off your body before walking away and let me know how you would handle it
