I like the schedule, though I miss the old MPSF. It still seems odd not starting conference play until February.

They return the most starters of any team, so as long as Gardini returned to school this Fall, it would seem like any roster updates would involve incoming players not likely to see the court much this season.

Still no roster up, but this would appear to be everyone.

Really hoping this is the year Stanley gets to show how great he is. Having to sit behind Durkin for his first two years and then the sesson-ending injury last year has been a shame. I think he's got a lot of talent -- hopefully the passing is good enough this year to show it off.

This BYU team could be SCARY good. GGF is such a potent offensive threat. Watching him hit against a humongous Cuban team this summer in the NORCECA Continental Championship revealed how strong he is and how high his contact point was. He and Davide Gardini will complement each other well. If BYU can find a viable OH2 who can pass and chip in BYU could find themselves in the Super Six

I think he's got a lot of talent -- hopefully the passing is good enough this year to show it off. One question is whether Hendrickson finally puts it all together at libero. That would go a long way toward improving the passing. If not, what are the options? The only other player on the roster listed as a libero is Will's little brother Jon. Is a viable option at that position? Or is there someone else on the roster who can play there? And that doesn't fully answer the concerns about passing. None of the OHs who played last year demonstrated that they could pass well consistently and I don't see any new players that could improve the situation. So it all boils down to whether a handful of guys who haven't shown to be good passers can become good passers in the space of one year. I'm not optimistic.

I was puzzled when I didn’t see him on the roster because I thought I saw him in the Twitter pictures above and was expecting him to be on it. He was the only player I could think of that had gone on a mission and should be back in time for this season. I thought maybe I had the wrong person. Puzzle solved.
