Iowa, Wake Forest, Missouri, and Evansville all pulled the Interim tags on their coaches. I thought it was a bit early in the season for two of them. Beyond recruiting, what is the rush to give them keys to the car? Why not let the season play out to find out if they are a leader worthy of a DI job? I think Missouri State is showing good patience in finishing the season, or they're not sold on the job that the current interim is doing. I agree! Also, Has Manolo actually won at the DI ranks? Like truly won, multiple .500+ seasons, any championships, knocked off any ranked opponents? I feel as though he has struggled his entire career. Maybe I just need to be enlightened by someone. Missouri State is 9-22 this year.. Not sure how they were projected to do though, or if their struggles are due to Stokes being fired or not.

Hearing Rosemont (Pa) in need of both women’s & men’s coach for 2020. I find it amazing that Rosemont would attempt to field a Men’s program. Over the past decade they have been one of the worst D3 women’s programs. (Currently Pablo 418 of 436. ) Why not attempt to make a better women’s program instead of 2 pathetic programs?

I don't believe grants were available for d3... only d1 and d2, may be wrong about that...

Well what year did they start to admit men? Seems like a plausible reason to try to increase the male student population by adding sports although I agree that their facilities and dedication to sports seems a deterrent.

True or not, it's a common talking point that having a men's team helps build a volleyball culture on campus and improves your women's program. Haven't looked at the numbers but I hear it often.

It is also significantly easier to build a mens program that wins because there is such a scarcity of places to play. Hire the right coach who will work hard on the recruiting side and the team can be respectable pretty fast.

That isn't how Rosemont usually does things but a lot of people want jobs in the men's game so we'll see.

Thank you. It looks like they significantly underperformed this year.. Manolo probably won't get the interim tag taken off.
