SO I "accidentally" run across a post from a friend that LEADS to checking YouTube, which has the livestream of Trevor/Jake and the future time of his brother's gold match. IS THAT the best way to market to rabid beach fans for the FIVB Chetumal finals? If you're ever perplexed by the sport or AVP marketing, you have to wonder who makes this presentation to management: Lets gear the event up, cameras at the ready, live feed in HD and the fans "will figure it out" . . . If I would have known a week earlier, I would have had a COUNTDOWN DAY timer along with an hourly countdown on the day of the event! Can anyone splain it to me? I saw 1.x K fans watching, so it wasn't "smothered with eyeballs", but wouldn't those be doubled or tripled just with relatively FREE fan social media posts (had they also known)?

If you follow this Youtube Channel you see all of the past and planned Final-4 matches which are officially broadcasted on Youtube: www.youtube.com/channel/UCHQUWveEpeO1KTkwbDn6jNA To your point, I think there is even a contdown for the planned events :-) But I am also totally unsatisfied how the FIVB is presenting the world tour. If you are lucky you can see 4 of ~100 games of atournament in a quality that is acceptable. The rest is basically impossible to watch - only freaks (like me) watch the games on a pixeled live stream on some Russian stream. For the year 2019 this is simply embarassing.

I checked and I was subscribed to your link, but I will check for a countdown. Yeah, we die hard will do the pixelated live stream if we can locate it. Just suprised SOMEBODY (I mean there are sponsors there, they want to see livestream hits, of course) doesn't get the message out "in this day and age". Just get it out to 100-200 core Facebook/Instagram followers and ask them to spread the word, it will get out FAST! Anyway, it was frustrating to know how many people might have missed it (I almost did) for no reason other than "basic marketing". Oh well, our sport :-(
