San Diego looked really good. I think they've got a decent look at the Elite 8, as they lost in five to both their presumed second-round opponent (Hawaii) and third-round opponent (Nebraska), and I think they've improved a lot over the course of the season.

Anna Newsome is just so freakin' good. She might be as good as Choy.

This San Diego team really scares me, I know Hawaii beat them in five earlier in the season. They are the most improved team in my opinion, and they will have another chance at redeeming themselves against the Rainbow wahine.

We rely completely on pinpoint passing creating 3-option sets to freeze the block. If any part of that formula isn't working, we can't outslug anybody. At least we didn't kill ourselves with hitting errors (we've done that in past years), but too many roll shots are their own punishment.
