Skinner would also be a great option. Highly successful head coach who has turned a program around. From the Midwest, has coached in the Big Ten, and has great ties and relationships in that part of the country. I am sure he is happy at Kentucky, but Ohio State is easily in the position to go outAnd sign a top head coach away from a good job. Skinner is much more than happy at Kentucky, he won't leave.

And with a pending Level 1 violation. And this would disqualify him from a coaching job at Ohio State because ? I assume that you were being sarcastic but I would think that the NCAA would give him a show-cause to go along with that violation.

Maybe OSU will do a Brent Crouch and hire someone out of nowhere.

The last two Tosu football coaches who left did so under ethical clouds.

I'm still struggling with pepper and the hit-dig-set sequence, like how do you know when to do what?

The last two Tosu football coaches who left did so under ethical clouds. James Franklin was hired under an ethical cloud. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would know that big-time athletic departments have zero problems hiring somebody who has had a questionable past. Certainly in men’s football and basketball.

His coaches arnt getting most of talent they have. He really hasn’t impressed me. O’Brien impressed me. How he did what he did with all the sanctions he had to deal with then the nfl came calling.

After OSU gets a few “no’s”...What about someone who had has a ton of success at a smaller program. Tom Hogan from Denver University is an Ohio guy and recruits the Midwest. Personality is opposite of Carlston

I think DBK would be a great move for tOSU. Would she be willing to leave Louisville? I think it would be a good hire, but OSU is in position to hire a proven championship level head coach. DBK has the promise of being that, but that’s a different thing. Name the proven championship head coaches that would even be available? A list doesn't even exist unless they want to dust off Haley. DBK's resume is the easiest sell an AD could make to their university and fanbase. Academic all-conference and captain of a national championship team in college? Check. Won a national championship as an assistant coach? Check. Quickly righted the ship at Louisville in her first three seasons as coach going 65-25, winning an ACC title, and developing multiple all-conference players? Check. Considered one of the best recruiters in the country? Check. Added bonus of being a young female hire? Check. tOSU has money to throw around, but they're not going to pull Cook, Rose, Elliott, Hugh, et al. While DBK isn't the only quality candidate, she should be on a very short list.
