Not sure how much they lost from last year but last years team shocked Colorado in the first round and they were really good. Struggled against Minnesota in the second round but beat Colorado in 5. I have seen CSU a few times and I would say it’s CSU best team in 10 years. Very senior heavy. I think CSU wins 3-1.

What are folks thoughts on the possibility of Washington and CSU? Strengths? Weaknesses? WA has some big guns, good floor defense and solid service pressure.

CSU has a great block and a top 5 setter. All five hitters can put the ball down. Libero plays good defense. Biggest weakness is serve receive. Sometimes it’s great and other times it’s inconsistent.

Winthrop would fly out of Charlotte. South Carolina would probably fly out of Columbia, but maybe through Charlotte (or Atlanta).

Carolina is very consistent. They were 0-10 against the top 25. 19-1 against the rest of the schedule. I expect this match to be more about CSU than USC. If they are a legitimate top 20 team (and I haven't seen them play, so I have no idea), then they should have no problem with Carolina, as much as it pains me to admit that.
