Night dreams are part of the creative life-sustaining and -enhancing process and can never be squashed by anyone else; daydreams? Reality helps when you decide to walk across the street at a four corner stop light intersection.

vbprisoner: as you have followed the Regular Season PTW, you are aware that RPI has done better this year (and only this year since I have kept count) than Pablo. Can you post the stats on how the two compare in the NIVC Contest? My hunch is that RPI is ahead...

Your hunch is correct, as by my reckoning the stats are as follows through the first two rounds of the NIVC:

Ahhhh, publius I did do a PTW for NIVC, but like you in regular season PTW I did not include because I did not want it to appear like a conflict of interest. I did check my bracket and I am 22/24... I just can't prove it! LMAO

GT was in control pretty much the whole match, although they had some sloppy moments here and there. They will have to play better to win their next match, whether it be TCU or Colgate. I see South Dakota struggled in their quarterfinal match, having to go 5 to win it. That gives the other teams reason to hope.

I'm biased, but before the tournament I felt that Georgia Tech had arguably the easiest path to the semifinals. The whole Liberty host site had low-RPI teams. UT Arlington OTOH was a very worthy opponent for the Yotes. Very tall and athletic team. The Coyotes committed an uncharacteristically high number of errors in that match, as well. The Thursday matches will tell us if TCU is as good as they looked so far in the tournament. Watch attendance numbers, too. The NIVC doesn't want a final in front of nobody. TCU and USD both had top-50 average season attendance. Georgia Tech did not.

This is going to come down to 3 scenarios: 1. TCU wins - garnet04 is runaway winner 2. Georgia Tech wins - cindra , vbfamily , vballfan17 have best odds. 3. South Dakota wins - smb is the runaway winner So going into the semi-finals 6 people still have chance to win.
