I forgot who coined the phrase APACC but it's getting more accurate every year.

Did you see the lack of attendance for the PITT game? Atrocious fan support... That's Pitt sports in general. A common joke for fans of teams in the ACC and Penn State for football is that Pitt's fans are all disguised as yellow chairs (Heinz Field's chairs are yellow).

Pitt's vb program is the highest quality program in all of their sports. You'd think they'd have enough to channel their fan energy to this one thing. And they even play on campus!

Student attendance wasn't helped by the fact that tickets cost money for this one. I know a bunch of people that didn't go because they didn't want to pay.

Fisher needs to start buying the tickets... That Stallings hire for mbb, backed by the cushy relationship between his agent and the AD, nearly brought down the whole athletic program. Capel needs to turn it around fast, for the sake of all Panthers. So far not overly impressed.

So far not overly impressed. 10 bucks for a 2 day pass, which is enough of a turnoff for a lot of my casual friends who would come to regular season games. If they just bought out a bunch I'm sure people would have come. Either that or host it in the fieldhouse. It would have been packed, and it's big enough by NCAA standards seeing as Purdue hosted in a smaller gym than the Fitz.

Playing on campus probably kept the attendance down. Nobody wants to be in Oakland after dark.

Fitzgerald holds 4500 which is plenty.
