I know some season ticket holders in our regular section who requested reserved seats and were just informed that would only get general admission due to new donors who wanted to go. This just p*sses me off. I tell you, if any of these big donors sell their tix on stub hub they should be banned from further volleyball ticket purchases, full stop. Happens all the time at many schools when a women's sports team starts getting attention. A lot of schools give priority to big donors, so when the big donors decide they want to see something other than football, they just push aside the long-time fans of that sport. the reality is that running an athletic program requires money, so sometimes they have to give incentives to those who donate large amounts of money to the athletic program.

We can downplay it but travel and weather are factors. It's not an excuse, just something to consider. VOLLEYBALL IS AN INDOOR SPORT It is an indoor sport but they are going to be in the elements during travel, that is just how it works. No person is indoors all the time. My significant other told me to buy a winter coat just to travel from NYC to the North Fork of Long Island. I said "I'll be on a train!" and she told me- "Trust me, buy a damn coat!"

I’m definitely staying for Hawaii-Nebraska. That's a real volleyball fan. Why would someone miss that match if they're already there? I guess if Wisconsin is somehow upset by A&M, then heading to the bar to drown in cocktails would make sense. That’s what I did when Nebraska hosted 3 years ago. Watched Huskers beat Penn State in 5 and then I stayed for the Washington/Arizona match that was after. I had already taken the day off of work so might as well stay and watch more high quality volleyball

Well, let’s not forget Nebraska’s 2 best players are from San Diego and Phoenix. They at a disadvantage too? Yours transferred in from Oregon and the other is from Sweden. Enough with the nonsense. Pack a coat and by all means make sure your heated charter bus is at the plane to get you to the hotel and to the venue without getting cold.

Travel and weather do play a role in the athletes’ performance. Your NE beach team can barely beat any team every year when they travel to Hawaii. Are you going to down play that too???

They use that season to get better for indoor. That’s different scenarios...

They are basically enjoying volleyball for a quarter of every year whereas some volleyball havens enjoy it all year round.

Speaking of Nebraska's beach team, I think Hawai'i needs to end that partnership because it doesn't benefit the beach bows.

Great job Badger fans. This is great for our sport. Sold out cause they found out Hawaii was coming. 😁
