Can we not do a transfer wish list? Totally irrelevant if the player themself has no intent on transferring - much less to Hawaii.
With that said, I do think it's likely Hawaii gets a couple midseason transfers a la Rasmussen and Hanawahine after the semester is done. Word is out that Hawaii is back on the map.
We have two to give. Let's get this going Ah Mow! We know you and the staff will bring in the best possible players.
Excited and hopeful for the off season recruiting for next season.

I feel like Akana will be on the outside, similar to a Ross - if she stays a middle I don’t see her making much court appearances if amber stays just as good as she is and Anna and Sky competing for the number 2 spot.

If today's loss showed anything it's that BVS needs to be on the outside. There has been 0 indication that she would be a good D1 setter other than putting up spectacular OOS sets, but running an offense takes a lot more than that and she has been a complete stud at OH. No way she sets next season. I can see BVS playing the same role as Iosia did this year. Setting when she is in the back row, and hitting when in the front row. Have Lang play the same role as Bailey Chow did this year. That way Lang will not have to play in the front row, and only set for 3 rotations. Good way of breaking Lang into setting on the D1 level. Takes a little pressure off of her.

Akana is probably going to have to wait one more year for more PT since she will have to learn to pass. Hanna, Brooke and Jolie have solidified their spots as pin hitters next season. Amber and Sky are solid in the middle but Anna will bring another dimension with her step-out/slide so both Amber and Sky will have to work hard to keep their spots.
Just need to get a good setter to make it to the sweet 16 and beyong next year.

Both Tiffany Westerberg and Riley Wagoner need to have an outstanding Spring practice season if they want to see the floor next season.

Hawaii will be solid if Riley Wagoner improves her hitting because she already has everything else. If, however, she doesn't improve significantly, Akana and Westerberg will struggle while learning on the job at OH/OPP.

If Riley improves her offense, could Hawaii go back to that no-libero offense that they had at the beginning of the year? They would need to find another setter for that to work though. Hitters: Wagoner, Rasmussen, BVS, Hellvig Setters: Lang, Middles: Igeide, Williams

Riley has a natural arm swing which is really nice to see. She just needs to be more efficient and work on tooling the block. AKA BVS & Ross this past season.

Having Rasmussen, Hellvig, and BVS returning, it is not like both Akana, and Westerberg have to make the transition right away. They both have another year to make the transition to OH/OPP.

I would want BVS passing 6 rotations, especially if we don't have experienced libero as well. The setting will really be what determines if we go even further next year. I am so excited for the next season! This is the first time in a while where I'm super confident about our returning players. Honestly, I wouldn't even be that bummed if we don't land any good transfers (wouldn't hurt though!) because our returning players + incoming recruits. I hope everyone stays healthy and if the coaching staff continues to work their magic, next season will be an even more magical one! Go Bows!

True, a lot will depend on if RAM can get a solid transfer setter, and how much players develop during the Spring session. I believe BVS will be the Setter during the Spring session, then RAM will make up her mind if she needs to go out get a transfer setter or not.

Shook will not be coming to Hawaii.
BVS will not become a 6-2 setter.
Let's not waste people's time posting these ideas again.

There will be better setters than Shook available.

Riley’s future after UH may be the beach, she looks like a natural. Hall’s freshman class is insane, just like the UH men freshmen. Things are looking up for all three programs.
