Big West preseason coaches poll1. @hawaiimensvb The top choice – and the preseason No. 1 in the AVCA poll – the Warriors are backed by returning All-Americans Rado Parapunov, Gage Worsley and Patrick Gasman. 2. @ucsbgauchos Ranked No. 5 in the AVCA preseason poll, the Gauchos look to contend for the title behind 2019 AVCA Division I-II Newcomer of the Year Ryan Wilcox. 3. @lbsumvb The two-time reigning national champions bring a 43-match home court winning streak into 2020, led by juniors Simon Andersen and Ethan Siegfried. Beach ranked No. 4 in AVCA preseason poll. 4. @ucimvb Ranked No. 8 in the AVCA preseason poll, the Anteaters are leaning on a pair of returning All-Americans in senior Scott Stadick & junior Joel Schneidmiller. 5. @csunmensvb The Matadors, ranked No. 13 in the AVCA poll, return sophomores Daniel Wetter and Taylor Ittner. 6. @ucsdmvb The Tritons return a pair of All-Freshman team members in Logan Clark and Blake Crisp

? The exact same link is highlighted green in my OP. Missed it. My apoligies. I just saw all the team logos. Unfortunately the matches for the Outrigger Tourney have not been updated on this link being that on the BWC schedule doesn't list the opponents for UC Irvine. Thursday 2/6 UCI vs. Concordia Friday 2/7 UCI vs. Queens Saturday 2/8 UCI vs. Hawaii

BTW, word is The Net Live is shutting down after the women's season. Are Vinnie of Off-the-Block, Jay Hosack of GMU and/or you going to do anything to discuss the 2020 season?

With the schedule out I haven't seen a Big West Conference Preseason Poll but if I had to guess it would look like this:
1. Hawaii - they're on a mission and they are FAR better than any other team in the nation. Plain and simple. 2. UCSB - loss of Chavers and Boehle are significant, but if another OH can step in they'll handily be in 2nd. 3. Long Beach St. - too many big pieces lost. Simon Anderson and Ethan Sigfried are all that's left. Everyone else has to prove themselves. 4. UC Irvine - most underachieving IMO in 2019. In serious need of a proven passer and setter. 5. CSUN - Lost a lot of their talent from 2019. Ptazynski (sp) not enough to win the important matches. 6. UCSD - They have a great libero-- need to wait and see who starts for the Tritons.

Losing Worsley and SVT are big losses for the Bows, but they do return the best middle and opposite in the country, and I believe we have the best Libero as well. My only worry this upcoming season for the Bows is the setting, and how Thelle will connect with the hitters.

I don’t see Beach top 3. Too much loss with unproven replacement pieces. I see both UCSD and CSUN as upside surprises.
