Fener is a top 2-3 team annually in turkey and top 10 team in the world. Usually near the top. Everyone has played for them. So for a athlete fresh out of college, I’m assuming getting a contract with them is pretty rare, and regardless if she starts, I’m assuming she’ll be making pretty big money What exactly is pretty big money? Asking for a friend.

Waiting for @tangotango to “explain” to us how this is going to derail Thompson’s career.

When was the last time that someone tried to start up a pro league in the USA? What was its downfall?

Also Rhamat Alhassan to Fenerbahce. Where was this announced? Rhamat is on the rise. She’s been great in Italy.

I would think quite a few are loosing money overseas as well. Those individuals with teams sometimes need to show a few ventures in the RED to balance out the many ventures in the black.

I thought Turkey had a limit on how many foreigners could be on the court at a time? Thompson, Alhassan, Robinson, Mihaljovic seems a lot?

Waiting for @tangotango to “explain” to us how this is going to derail Thompson’s career. Let's see what happens when Vargas returns. Do u know who is Fenerbache's coach? Zoran Terzic a.k.a Serbi's coach. He will scout Jordan easily just in case she goes to Tokyo.

I nothing about pro ball. Is this a good team for a first year to start with? Do they compete for championships? This is a great gig for her first year.

Also Rhamat Alhassan to Fenerbahce. Where was this announced? Rhamat is on the rise. She’s been great in Italy. Just a few articles I’ve seen in Twitter. Anyway, I wonder how that’s going to happen knowing that she is still with Volalto Caserta. Buy-out contract? If so, Fenerbahçe must be serious in wanting to acquire her.

Alhassan to Fenerbahce is not a done deal yet but Fenerbahce wants to sign with her.
The local mb, Babat, missed the first part of the season cause of injury and she is still not ready to play. Her back up, ex-NT player, Bahar Guidetti passed her prime, her performance is so weak.
Turkish leaguge has 3+1 foreign rule.
Mihajlovic-Kelsey-Thompson as starters and Alhassan as back up. Good thing is that Fatma Yildirim, former FSU, is on the roster. Terzic can give playing time to Alhassan with Fatma. Her passing is very stable.

Excited that this is happening for JT. Just what she needed to be at her very best for Tokyo.
