Always felt a little bad that Hildebrand's wife never made it on the USNT Olympic roster. Yes, I hate Stanford, but I remember Kristin was a great player there and was aiming for a Olympic spot. Ah well, at least she won the World Championship in 2014. What is she doing now (besides moving to Nebraska with her husband)? If any player on the roster deserved a "cheerleader spot" on the team it was her. She *always* went when the US came calling, even being the star player on a lot of it's less glamorous teams. Super loyal, super reliable, just not one of the stars.

Contract details are out. Tyler's making $175,000 per year as an assistant. journalstar.com/sports/huskers/volleyball/hildebrand-earns-promotion-and-larger-salary-in-second-stint-with/article_86cf1a03-6e1e-57ba-9d76-71da4e07522a.htmlThe second stint for Tyler Hildebrand on the coaching staff for the Nebraska volleyball team came with both a new job title and a considerably larger salary. Nebraska announced the addition of Hildebrand as the Huskers’ associate head coach on Monday. This is the first time Cook has given the title of associate head coach to one of the two full-time assistant coaches. Hildebrand will have the spot that opened up last month when Kayla Banwarth left to be the head coach at Ole Miss. Hildebrand’s salary will be $175,000 per year, according to a copy of his contract obtained by the Journal Star on Wednesday. Hildebrand signed the contact on Jan. 10. His salary will be more than many NCAA Division I women's head coaches made last season. Hildebrand is staying with Team USA through the 2020 Olympics. His contract with Nebraska will begin on Aug. 10, and runs through Jan. 31, 2023. Hildebrand was paid $100,000 per year the first time he coached at Nebraska, which was the highest salary ever for a Nebraska volleyball assistant coach.

She has an interior design business. Interesting, good for her...not sure if there are a lot of demand for interior design in Linoln though. Not that I know Lincoln, but I bet there is demand, because employment rate is low in Nebraska, and Agri-business is more lucrative than you think. Just look how well RED travels, whether volleyball or football.

After a hard's work out in the field with a tractor or tending to animals, what do you they want when they get back home?

There aren't many farmers who live in Lincoln. Oh of course, "farming-related business" I should say. Still doesn't answer my question, what are the interior design taste in Lincoln?

Why is it odd to ask what is the interior design market like in Lincoln? Different places have different tastes.

I see a lot of people are posting who have never been to Lincoln Nebraska. . . My guess is “KRISTEN HILDEBRAND Interiors” is about double or triple their workload. . . kh-interiors.com

I think you're 100% on the right track to ask a bunch of volleyball aficionados on a rando website to explain the interior design tastes of Lincoln. Because that's the important thing to grasp in this situation. Not that Mr. Hildebrand is the heir-apparent of the team that's won 20% of the National Championships in the lifetime of every major recruit in D1A volleyball, and not that he's going to be the coach of the team that puts the most butts in seats of any program in this country, and not that he's going to be the face of a program whose annual banquet hosts more people than show up to an average PAC-12 match. None of that is important. Let's agonize over what Kristin Hildebrand is going to do. Because with a website, a name, some bona fides and some star power, there's really no chance she does any design work outside the city limits of Lincoln. Not the Omaha metro area 30 minutes away, not the Kansas City area 90 minutes away, not special requests across the country. Nope. Just Lincoln. Only in Nebraska. Probably no work north of South Street, either. Pigeon-holed to just Lincoln.

Instead of trying to be a smartass with a sarcastic response, you could offer a straight answer. But that's too much for you, isn't it? That says more about you than me. And who is "agonizing" over Kristin's life may I ask? I simply asked what she is doing now and she will do in Lincoln, how is that "agonizing"?

Judging from what she is offering on her website, nothing that she is offering will be out of place or out of the norm in Lincoln. There is a thriving housing market and new home construction continues at a high rate. Interior-design is a growth business in Lincoln. . .per a couple of real estate people I just talked to for what it’s worth.
