Harvard squeaked out the fourth set 26-24. Great match.

Don has done a very good job of getting some of Western NY's best talent to stay in the state. I think they will need to get more physical in the middle to really compete at the top level of EIVA. Have loved Ryan Parker since he was a recruit as junior. They will keep getting better

Harvard takes the match 3-1 (21-25, 25-17, 25-23, 26-24). Awesome improvement from Daemen over the past 3 matches, and considering that the majority of their remaining schedule is against D2's, independents, and high level D3's I'm expecting them to finish around 20 wins in their second season.

I too am firmly on the Daemen train. Loved what I've seen from them and can only seeing them getting better, especially playing some of these stronger teams. Looking forward to watching their future.
Harvard is... trying. They definitely need improvement overall from their pins but their middles are ridiculously good. Loved seeing Hong in there tonight.

Have loved Ryan Parker since he was a recruit as junior. They will keep getting better I would think that the EIVA is going to have to seriously consider adding Daemen and St. Francis - Brooklyn soon. Don't know if all 10 teams will agree to an 18 match conference slate, but you could do this with a 13 match conference schedule to even things out. EIVA Central | EIVA East | Penn State | Princeton | St. Francis (PA) | NJIT | Charleston | Harvard | George Mason | Sacred Heart | Daemen | St. Francis (Brooklyn) |

The MPSF used to have more teams didn't they - before the Big West split off?

McCrary playing out of his mind two days in a row! I wonder why Ethan Smith didn’t play, he’s pretty damn good.

I absolutely agree. I was commenting that Daemen has some room to grow if they were to be a contender in the EIVA

And Daemen is such a small private school too. Imagine if a school like UB or Stony Brook had a men's program. Being a SUNY school with low tuition they would literally be able to get probably 90% of the top players in New York (Long Island, Albany, Syracuse, Buffalo). Maybe one day!

So, on a quick check up Daemen College is a Liberal Arts School (primarily Healthcare, business and education). Ave. Cost after aid is $17 k. Campus is 35 acres and undergrad is 1,739 students but has graduate programs too. I do appreciate what is going up there but one would think getting the larger SUNY schools or a larger private school would be what the EIVA would be shooting for. Regardless, the guys play hard for their coach and THAT is a testament to them and his efforts.
