Young when compared to those of us who can barely remember college.

Roster-wise... this is hands down the best team in the country for '05... if Nebraska plays well, there is NO team in the country that can compete with these 7 players... That is what was said this past season about Nebraska and they could not even get to the FF. The Pac-10 has won 6 of the last 10 championships and the last four in a row. The conference was also a runner-up (Stanford 1999 to Penn St.). The last 10 years the Pac-10 had a team in 7 finals. Why? The brutal competition the teams face in league play. Sure Nebraska will storm into the play-offs un-defeated but they WILL NOT win it all next year. They will not be challenged till play-off time and it will cost them. Washington, Stanford and even poor UCLA will be loaded and waiting for the Husker's if USC does not take them out again or if Hawai`i has their way with them.

I'd say the chance of getting to the playoffs un-defeated might be better than 50-50 but they will certainly not be unchallenged. Their preseason schedule has to be about the most grueling in the country with Ohio State, Minnesota, Long Beach State, Penn State (twice), Hawaii, Stanford, Pepperdine, and Pacific potentially on the schedule. Plus Texas will be no slouch nor will Texas A&M, Missouri or Kansas State be push overs. Some of those preseason matches are still in the planning stages but will most likely happen. I would say that should challenge the Huskers pretty good.

We get it: Pac 10 good, everyone else, bad. Happy now?

If they face all these clubs I stand corrected and apologize. This is what you want as a Nebraska acolyte. Hope they get kicked around and lose a couple. It will test and develop their mettle. If they indeed face these clubs they will be battle tested and will reach the FF. I had no idea this is their agenda.

If you get it do not respond. I'm just wondering if you have anything else to offer every discussion you're a part of besides "PAC 10 good! Everyone else bad!"

I'm just wondering if you have anything else to offer every discussion you're a part of besides "PAC 10 good! Everyone else bad!" Just want to say that Bigfan doesn't represent the general opinion of fans of schools in the Pac 10. His opinion on the Huskers faltering is a minority. I think they'll be the team to beat. It'll be interesting to see how USC, Washington and Stanford develop. They'll have some things to work out.

Just want to say that Bigfan doesn't represent the general opinion of fans of schools in the Pac 10. I post what I think. Nebraska will be absolutely loaded with talent this coming season and either a Pac-10 team or Hawai`i will win it all in 2005.

You mean this one? I guess if what YellowC said about Larson is true, then Barboza's not a very good attacker and McGinnis isn't a very good setter.
