Larson isn't a very good passer. Trust me! Having seen Jordan play about 50 times in the last 2 years she will amaze those Huskers who have never seen her play before. Her passing skills are so good that she could very well be the best passer on the team and that includes Jen S!

You mean this one? I guess if what YellowC said about Larson is true, then Barboza's not a very good attacker and McGinnis isn't a very good setter. All 3 of those girls are great players - but having been at that tournament....I wouldn't say this tournament or tournament awards are absolute indicators....the tournament wasn't very strong. Team USA was never really challenged........

Larson's passing isn't dead on accurate. If she takes passes away from Saleaumua then it wont help Nebraska at all. She's also not a great defender.

Larson's passing isn't dead on accurate. Tell me one player who is dead on accurate everytime with a pass? If she takes passes away from Saleaumua then it wont help Nebraska at all. Evidently you must think Larson is a ball hog by making this comment. That simply isn't true. From watching Larson play so many times the opposite is probably more true. Larson could have easily gotten to and taken many of the balls away from her teammates but that wasn't the case as she let her teammate pass the ball.

Wow, you know it is a slow off season when 13 year old threads are being resurrected.

However it's a pretty damn good example of players getting significantly better than what people view them as entering college lol. I laughed a lot at the Larson comments but of course I only started following heavily in 2005 (which was 8th grade for me).

Correct me if Im wrong, but I do recall reading that people were really skeptical on here that larson would succeed professionally.
Is that true?

It was widely expected that Barboza would be the GOAT of that class. A class full of crazy good talent (Barbie, larson, fawcett, akinradewo, harmotto, crimes, spicer). Larson, while no slouch herself, surprised us all in the end. She’s a gamer!

In wondering about whatever became of Amanda McCormick, an internet search led me to the following: ballstatesports.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=401It looks like she had two outstanding seasons at Ball State in 2005 and 2006.
