Penn State, and it will not be that close.... I have no idea which team will win the Big Ten championship, however, considering how poor your abilities as a prognosticator have been over the years I'm glad you indirectory voted for the Gophers.

I think Penn State is the best in the Big Ten, but I don't think they are dominant enought to be a sure bet for winning it. They can definitely be beaten by Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Purdue. Call me crazy but I think Purdue has a legitimate shot at coming in 2nd or 3rd in the conference.

How's Northwestern doing? I see Northwestern winning the Big Ten this year, but then again, I see world peace and a world without hunger by year's end.

I think Northwestern is going to be a player in the Big Ten this year. They are a fiesty bunch that plays very good defense. I think they have some real over-achievers who will make life tough for most teams. I really like Anderson.

" indirectory voted for the Gophers"? Did you just get back from a trip to Japan?

Big Ten Champ: Minnesota or Penn State? What do ya'll think? Buckeyes. Or they will finish no worse than 3rd. Meyer and Stevens are really hitting well and digging is good from the others. A post last week praised Larson's great jump serve--looks to have nothing on Steven's serve so far this year. Last night's match vs Pittsburgh was a good one. Sure Pitt isn't Big Ten but could contend against some of them if they played like last night. Several of the Bucks serves are finding the back line consistently every night.

" indirectory voted for the Gophers"? Did you just get back from a trip to Japan? I wote up from a serious nightmare ivolving Beachman predicting every match for the season. He predicted the beach was going to win the championship this year.

The matches against UCLA and Minnesota will be crucial benchmarks, but I am beginning to believe that Wisconsin might very well play a significant role in the Big Ten title hunt this season.
